Originally from the Philippines and installed in Portugal, Paula Figuera created in 2012 Gustoko, a brand of bags influenced by its two cultures. She draws her inspiration from Portuguese earthenware from the 14th century, her walks on the beach and her visits to museums.             Gustoko est une marque d'accessoires contemporains fondée en 2012 par Paula Figuera, qui s'inspire d'un dialogue entre la sensibilité portugaise et le savoir-faire artisanal philippin. Chaque pièce est conçue au Portugal et fabriquée à la main en série limitée par des communautés d'artisans aux Philippines, à partir de fibres naturelles telles que le buntal et l'abaca.
            Des silhouettes sculpturales, des matières tissées et des détails subtils donnent naissance à des sacs à la fois fonctionnels et distinctifs, inspirés des azulejos portugais, des voyages et des observations du quotidien. Plutôt que de suivre les tendances, Gustoko se concentre sur des formes intemporelles conçues pour durer et évoluer avec celui ou celle qui les porte.
