Lutz Morris
Lutz Morris is a handbag label founded by Tina Lutz, an experienced and recognized creative director and member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Originally from Germany, Tina Lutz studied fashion in Paris and after a stint in Tokyo with Issey Miyake, she moved to the United States for 25 years in New York, before settling in Milan. In the United States, she has worked in creation and design for Calvin Klein, Barneys and The Limited.
Recently ilooking a return to her roots, she created Lutz Morris, a line of bags with a pure and minimalist design handmade in Germany in an eco-responsible and ethical way in small family workshops with recognized know-how. The designer makes it a point of honour to choose materials mainly from Germany, with 90% of the leathers coming from the country's tanneries. Bags by Lutz Morris are recognizable by their stainless 24-carat gold-plated finishes and brass chains designed by jewelers from the Black Forest region. The label emphasizes integrity, which is found in all aspects of the design process. Winner of the 2020 Sustainability Award from the FGI (Fashion Group International) in New York.
