Gustoko

Originally from the Philippines and living in Portugal, Paula Figuera created Gustoko in 2012, a bag brand influenced by its two cultures.
She takes her inspiration from 14th century Portuguese azulejos, her beach walks and museum visits.
The designer imagines her pieces in Lisbon and has them made by hand, in limited edition by Philippine communities with ancestral know-how.
By using natural and noble fibers such as buntal or abaca, woven with traditional techniques, Paula Figuera introduced Philippine craftsmanship and know-how.
