Selim Mouzannar crafts fine jewelry that intertwines deep-rooted tradition with contemporary elegance. Born in Beirut in 1963 into a storied lineage of Ottoman-era jewelers, he spent his youth in his father’s workshop amid the old souks, immersed in the scent of incense, the glow of colored gems, and the hum of craftsmanship.
After earning credentials in mineralogy and gemology in France and Belgium, and gaining experience in Saudi Arabia and Thailand, Mouzannar returned to Beirut in 1993 to launch his eponymous maison. Today, his atelier in Achrafieh is a creative haven where artisans bring his vision to life.
His creations are instantly recognizable by the Falamenk technique: rose-cut diamonds set in silver-bottomed bezels, a poetic blend of vintage allure and architectural precision. Inspired by Art Deco motifs and Beirut’s historic facades, each design masterfully merges heritage and modernity.
Selim Mouzannar’s work has earned global admiration, from winning the Couture Design Award for his “Amal” necklace in 2016 to a recent nomination for the prestigious GEM Award for Jewelry Design in 2025. His jewelry is cherished by celebrities and connoisseurs alike, a testament to its timeless elegance.
