Nackiye

Based in Istanbul, Nackiyé was born from the desire of two sisters, Basak and Defne, to perpetuate their legacy. Indeed, the brand carries the name of the great-grandmother of the two designers whose Ottoman family was at the heart of Turkish culture by welcoming artists, musicians and intellectuals of the time. 

Nackiyé creations pay tribute to these unique stories of the past, which have crossed generations, to now inspire the future. Each garment is designed to reflect memories linked to Turkish culture. The pearls that ring against the wooden table during long lunches in the lokantas of Istanbul or the silk that slides on salty skin at the end of the day.
