Originally from the Philippines and installed in Portugal, Paula Figuera created in 2012 Gustoko, a brand of bags influenced by its two cultures. She draws her inspiration from Portuguese earthenware from the 14th century, her walks on the beach and her visits to museums. The designer imagines her pieces in Lisbon and has them made by hand, in small series by Philippine communities with ancestral know-how.
